DISPOSABLE SYRINGE
The disposable syringe is a medical device made of non-toxic, non-pyrogenic plastic, and is used to inject medications and to draw various organic fluids. The syringe consists of three components: a needle, a barrel, and a plunger. The needle is short and very thin, and is integrated into the syringe via a Luer Slip tip. The barrel is a transparent container that holds the drug or fluid and has gradated lines by which the level of the liquid can be easily read. The plunger is a rod that fits comfortably inside the syringe barrel, allowing the drug or fluid to be suctioned or pushed out by sliding it up and down. When pressed, the gasket at the end of the plunger seals the barrel.
