SUCTION CATHETER
Endotracheal aspiration is a standard procedure to remove foreign material from the airway. This ensures that the patient is able to keep their airway clear, especially in cases where they are unable to do so on their own. The suction catheter is connected to an open- or closed-circuit suction system and is held by the operator, who inserts it into the patient’s airway. The catheter has a high-suction efficiency and does not damage the tissues it comes in contact with.
