SURGICAL BLADES
The surgical blade set includes a wide range of disposable scalpel blades that can be used in inpatient or outpatient surgery. The blades are made of stainless steel or carbon steel and feature excellent sharpness, precision, and control during cutting. Each blade is compatible with the handle of the scalpel, and on each blade a specific number is indicated that defines the characteristics and usability for each intervention. For example, blade No. 10 is for standard dissections, and Nos. 11 and 12 are used for cavity formations. Others, such as Nos. 22-24, are used primarily for interventions in which deep cuts are needed. The size of each blade is clearly identifiable by a numerical code and color.
